A year-round instructional swim program open to full-time UA students and current University Recreation Members. Swim Lesson participants must be current members of the Student Recreation Center and/or Aquatic Center. We offer a pre-swim development class for preschoolers 3-5 years old and swim lessons for youth age 6-12 years old. Bama Swim School offers private and semi-private lessons for ages 3 years through adult. Bama Swim School teaches skills in a logical progression, allowing participants to swim with an increased emphasis in the areas of drowning prevention and an inclusive approach to swimming skills development, water safety, building confidence in the water, and developing skills that last a lifetime.
Available in person at the Student Recreation Center or Aquatic Center Membership Offices. You may also fill submit this registration form online. Once the registration form is submitted, a member of our staff will contact you to complete registration. Swim lessons are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Once the form is completely filled out, signed and submitted, a member of our staff will contact you within 1 business day to complete registration. Swim lessons are filled on a first come first serve basis. Completing the online registration form does not guarantee space in swim lessons.
