Located in Jackson Co. Al, Tumbling Rock Cave is a great introduction for those wanting to learn about the wonders of caving. Covering over 5 acres and lasting over 6 miles, this cave holds a plethora of geological wonders including Topless Dome, Christmas Tree Stalagmite, Hall of the Gods, and many more! This is your last chance of the semester, so come join us for a day and discover a whole new world just beneath your feet!

Leave the Outdoor Rec Rental Center early (7-8 AM) and spend approximately 3-4 hours in cave. Emerge and return to the Rental Center around 7-8 PM

Provided by the Outdoor Rec: Transportation to and from the cave will be provided by the Outdoor Rec. Knee pads, helmet, headlamps, gloves, and 2 trained guides will also be provided.
What to Bring: Pants, t-shirt, small backpack, old shoes/boots. Eat breakfast before you arrive, pack snacks/lunch to eat inside the cave. Bring money or sack meal for dinner on the return trip back to Tuscaloosa. FOOD WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS TRIP.
