Love to get outside but always end up eating dehydrated food and Clif bars? Come learn how to camp cook with us and you can eat delicious food while enjoying the outdoors! We will talk about both front country and back country cooking. At the end of the clinic we will have a delicious meal cooked by you in a dutch oven!
Meet at the Outdoor Recreation Center at 6:30. We will begin cooking a dutch oven meal and while it cooks will talk about dutch oven care, as well as several different types of backpacking stoves including a jet boil, trangia, and pocket rocket. We will address the pros and cons of each stove and how to properly set up and clean each. We will also talk about kitchen set up. Then we will eat our delicious meal!
