The University of Alabama Women’s Club Volleyball team was established in 2006 and is continuously growing as a program. UA’s Club Volleyball team is a great opportunity for women who want to continue their volleyball career into college, without the major time commitment of a varsity athletic’s program. We practice twice a week, have two teams, and travel all over the SEC competing in tournaments.

How to Get Involved: In order to get involved with the UA Women’s Club Volleyball team, you must attend tryouts and be chosen to be added to the roster. We usually keep a roster anywhere from 23-26 women, to ensure that we’ve always got enough players to travel and compete. Previous volleyball experience is encouraged, though not required. The focus of this club is strictly competitive, and we look for players that have the drive and maturity to make a legitimate commitment to our organization.
