The student leadership of each club is typically the main source of communication for all event logistics
Release of Liability Form must be completed by participants, including visiting teams, prior to an activity.
Participants under 19 are considered minors in Alabama and must have a Release of Liability Form completed by a parent or guardian. Forms can be scanned and sent to SportClubs@ua.edu, photos will not be accepted. Forms must be received by 12 p.m. Monday – Friday for participation that evening or weekend. The original signed copy can also be brought to the event.
Alcohol, Drugs, and Tobacco are not permitted to be used by participants or spectators at any University Recreation Facility including the fields.
Pets, such as dogs and cats, are not permitted at any University Recreation Facility including the fields.
Athletic Trainers are available for all home events and arrive 60 minutes prior to each game (Please bring your own supplies for taping)
Players may use the showers and locker rooms in the Student Recreation Center by asking a Competitive Sports staff member (players must bring their own towels)
Food and drink are not allowed in the Student Recreation Center, except the lobby. Water and sports drinks are permitted in closed lid containers (fast food style cups with a lid and straw are not permitted)
Glass containers and gum are prohibited in all facilities
Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated including, but not limited to: verbal abuse, physical abuse, harassment, abuse of staff, obscene gestures, or profane language
If a participant or guest is asked to leave a facility for misconduct they must leave immediately and may be required to meet with staff or reported to their institution.
Vending is not permitted at facilities without prior authorization.
Vehicles and bikes are not permitted on Fields or grassy areas. Please use parking lots provided.
Fields and pools may be closed due to inclement weather (lightning, excessive rain), problems with irrigation, poor drainage of fields, or other issues. When lightening is within 10 miles play will be suspended and will not resume until at least 30 minutes after the last strike.
When game play is suspended due to dangerous weather conditions all participants and spectators must vacate the premises and seek safe shelter.
