The Alabama Crew Club was founded in 1987 as the university’s competitive rowing team. We race all across the country and continually look to be a premier rowing club of the Southeast.

How to Get Involved:  We do not require previous experience to try out, but it is certainly welcome and beneficial. Tryouts determine if athletes will make  the team and  if they will be in a competitive crew or instructional crew. Our primary focus is to produce crews that compete at the national level, but we also look to promote the sport of rowing at the university and throughout the community.
