This club competes at the division I collegiate level in clay target shooting.  We travel out of state to compete in at least two main tournaments per academic semester.  The events we compete in include but are not limited to: American Skeet and Trap, International Skeet and Trap, Bunker Trap,  and Sporting Clays.  The team encourages any interested student currently enrolled at the University of Alabama and has shotgun shooting experience to join us during our practice on Sundays.

How to Get Involved:  The team holds an annual tryout in early September at our practice location.  We will hold two meetings before tryouts to teach safety and how the events are conducted. Then you will try out by shooting one round of American Skeet and one round of American Trap.  We do require previous experience with shotgun shooting and basic shooting safety, but do not expect you to be an expert on the events.  We also require that you have your own shotgun or have the ability to obtain your own shotgun.
