Womens Lacrosse Team

Alabama women ’s lacrosse club is a member of the SWLL (Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League) conference. We play other colleges and universities in the region that have club level teams. Other teams in SWLL include Auburn, UGA, GT, TN, Vanderbilt, FSU, UF, etc. We want players who are passionate about lacrosse and want to build-up both the program at the University of Alabama as well as promote the sport throughout the state and Southeast.

Our official season is held during the spring; however, we usually start practice in the fall semester to start conditioning and strengthen the team as a whole. Practices are held about 3 times a week in the afternoons (usually no earlier than 5 pm). The team practices at the student recreation center fields located behind the facility. Games are usually held on weekends in the spring and will require some traveling. Although we will travel to other schools, it will be within the region and we usually play two teams in one trip to make the most out of it.
