Alabama Ultimate has been competing since the late 1970’s. We compete year round, traveling mostly in the spring semester. We are part of the Ultimate Players Association and compete in the Bama Section. We also compete against many teams from around the nation depending on the tournaments that we go to. Competition from around our section comprises teams such as Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vandy, and Birmingham Southern.

How to join:
Come out and play!. Bring water, cleats, a light and a dark jersey. If you like what you see and want to travel and compete, dues will be $50. Dues go towards hotels, tournament bids, and UPA eligibility.
Extra Information:
We will teach you our offense, every throw, and the rules of the game, so experience is not a must.
Alabama Ultimate is coming off of a trip to Regionals in 2006. In 2007, Josh Currey and Anthony Digiacco were named co- section MVP. Joe Oaks was also named all-section rookie.
Practice:
Through November- Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-8 on the quad, Sundays 2-5 at the rec.
After daylights savings time- Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-8, Sundays 2-5 at the rec.
Competition:
Tourneys vary throughout the year. Our annual tournaments consist of:
Harvest Moon, Fayetteville Arkansas- early November
Ttown Throwdown (our very own)- January
Mardi Gras, Baton Rouge- February
Mudbowl, Talladega Alabama- February
Sectionals, TBA- April
