TABLE TENNIS
Basic Information:
The UA Table Tennis club was started in the early 2000’s and has been growing ever since. We now have two tables to set up in the South Gym of the University Recreation Center (where we practice), in addition to two tables upstairs that are permanently set up.
We biannually participate in tournaments which are usually held at the University of Southern Mississippi, in addition to periodic singles tournaments held in the Southeast.

How to Join:
Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert players welcome. There are no tryouts, and practice is pretty casual. Club dues are $25/semester and cover table expenses, travel expenses, and other competition costs.
Experience is not necessary. If you like playing table tennis and are willing to commit time to getting better, we would love to help. A paddle is useful, but they can be checked out at the main desk for free.
Practice Schedules:
Fridays: 4:00-7:30ish
Sundays: 4:00-7:30ish
Competition Schedules:
This varies from semester to semester, but there are two meets we always attend and a few others we attend periodically. Depending on the team’s desire, we send a number of teams of 4 players (A-team, B-team, etc.).
