TABLE TENNIS
Basic Information:
The UA Table Tennis club was started in the early 2000’s and has been growing rapidly ever since. We now have Five tables to set up in the South Gym (Court 4) of the University Recreation Center (where we practice), in addition to two tables upstairs that are permanently set up.
We biannually participate in Regional tournaments which are usually held at the University of Southern Mississippi, in addition to State-wide Competitions and possible scrimmages with UAH and UAB.

How to Join:
Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert players welcome. We offer three forms of Play: Open Play, League Play, and Tournament/Travel. Coaching available during schedule times.
To join Alabama Table Tennis, there is a due of $25.00 dollars per semester ($20 for returning members) and that covers a team competition T-shirt, Gas and motel (For attending tournaments), and free use of the tournament tables and other equipment (balls, robot, paddles, etc).
Practice Schedules:
Fridays: 4:00-7:00
Sundays: 3:30-6:30
Wednesday (Regional Practice)- 7PM-9PM (Until Mid-September)
Competition Schedules:
For NCTTA tournaments, there are only 2 teams allowed. An A team and a B team. Each team is allowed to have a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8 players.
