Disc Golf traveled to Augusta, GA for the Disc Golf Collegiate Championships. Alabama finished 4th overall and is now the only team in history to finish in the top 5 in all of the collegiate championship tournaments. Drew Patton and Alex Butler took the Doubles Championship. Drew Patton also finished with 2nd team All-American honors and won the Long Drive Competition.
Tennis won the Copper Bracket at Nationals in Surprise, Arizona by beating Northeastern University.

MLAX traveled to Starkville on Thursday Night for a make up game with Mississippi State. Inclement weather prevented this match up from taking place on March 27th, but all signs were good for this Thursday night game. Alabama took an early lead and never looked back, winning 17-5.
MLAX will host Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday, April 17th at 7 PM.

MLAX hosted Emory on Friday night in Tuscaloosa. Alabama held with Emory for most of the game before Emory pulled away. Emory won 13-11.
Racquetball traveled to Tempe, Arizona for Nationals this past weekend. Alabama made up solid ground on Sunday coming from 4th place overall to take 2nd place in the nation. Congrats on a great season!
Ultimate Frisbee traveled to Tupelo, MS for Sectionals. Alabama went 3-1 on Saturday with wins over LA Tech, Mississippi State, and Middle Tennessee State and fell to Ole Miss. On Sunday, Alabama fell in the championship bracket to LSU 13-2. Alabama then was placed in the 2nd place bracket before being bounced by Auburn 13-6.

Crew hosted the Row Tide Regatta on Lake Tuscaloosa this weekend. Alabama finished at the top of the field this weekend.
Cycling traveled to North Carolina for a race. On Saturday, Preston Beasley placed 6th in the road race and Sam Barr finished in the Top 30. On Sunday, Tyler Preston finished 18th, Preston Beasley finished 9th, and Sam Barr finished 12th in their respective categories.
WLAX hosted a double header against Vanderbilt and Mississippi State this weekend at home. Alabama jumped off to big lead against Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt raced back to send it to overtime, but Alabama held strong in overtime to win 12-10. In Game 2, Alabama controlled the game from start to end, beating Millsaps 15-1

Crew traveled to the Augusta Invitational Regatta in Aiken, South Carolina. 3 out of the 4 boats brought home medals this weekend; a great start to open the start of the regatta season.
Alabama will host the Row Tide Regatta on Lake Lurleen March 28th at 9 AM.
Triathletes traveled to Wildersville, NC for a race this weekend. Out of 150 runners, Alabama took home 1st place male and female individually. Alabama also took home 1st place male and coed team and 2nd place female team.
Women's Wheelchair Basketball captured their first national championship this past week in Denver, Colorado. Alabama avenged last year's championship loss by beating Illinois twice in same tournament. Alabama beat Illinois 53-39 to claim the top prize. Stephanie Wheeler was named MVP!

Cycling traveled to Clemson for a road race over the weekend. Tyler Matthews placed 5th in the C's and will be upgrading to B's very soon. Sam Barr and Preston Beasley also made great times this weekend.
Men's Lacrosse traveled to Atlanta, GA to take on Kennesaw State. Alabama was no match for Kennesaw as they lost 17-3.
Alabama will travel to Mississippi State on March 28th.
Ultimate Frisbee traveled to Tallahassee, Florida for the Tally Classic this weekend. Alabama made a strong showing by going 5-0 on Saturday and advancing to the quarterfinals on Sunday. Alabama faced heavyweight Notre Dame and fell short 13-8. Alabama went 6-1 for the tourney.
Ultimate will travel to Nashville, TN on March 20th.
Women's Lacrosse competed against Kennesaw State this weekend in Atlanta, GA. Trailing 7-5 at halftime, Alabama pulled together to take home an 11-10 victory.
Alabama will host a home tournament on March 28th. Games will be held at 11, 1, and 3 PM. Come out and support Women's Lacrosse.

Hockey competed in the first annual Schools of the SEC Hockey Tournament this weekend in Pelham, Alabama. Alabama faced Florida in the 1 vs. 4 matchup. A powerful goalie shut down Alabama as he blocked shot after shot. Florida won 8-3.
In the 5th Place Game, Alabama matched up against Arkansas, who fell to Georgia Friday Night. Alabama won the game 6-3 and finished the season 13-1 at home.

Men's WheelChair Basketball hosted the Alabama Invitational on Saturday. Alabama went 2-0 this weekend by beating Lakeshore 74-44 and Chattanooga 74-34. Alabama is 21-13 on the year.
Rugby traveled to Huntsville to take on Huntsville in a non-matrix game. Alabama won 31-5 in a cold, muddy, windy day!
Tennis played well this weekend in Regionals in snow covered Dothan, Alabama. Alabama has advanced to Nationals in Surprise, Alabama in April.
Women's WheelChair Basketball hosted the Alabama Invitational on Saturday. Alabama's Women beat Chattanooga 79-50 and held the Rebounders to 17% shooting in the second half. In their second game, Alabama beat Lakeshore 73-43 by holding Lakeshore to 33% shooting, while shooting 67% themselves.

Cycling hosted the Alabama Cycling Spring Classic in Tuscaloosa. On Saturday, Alabama hosted the road race portion at Lake Lurleen State Park. Andy Nix placed 10th and Preston Beasley 4th and Tyler Matthews 9th in the road race.
On Sunday, the race moved back to the University of Alabama at the soccer lot for the criterium. Alabama placed well in these events with Sam Barr placing 2nd in the criterium in the A division. In the C division, Tyler Matthews placed 3rd, Preston Beasley 6th, and Andy Nix 9th.
Alabama will travel to Atlanta, GA on February 28th.
Men's Lacrosse traveled to Nashville, TN for games against MTSU and Vanderbilt. Alabama fought hard against Vandy but fell short 12-2. Alabama bounced back against MTSU to take a 17-13 win. Alabama is 4-4 on the year.
Alabama will host Winthrop on Saturday, February 28th at 6 PM.
Racquetball traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas over the weekend. Alabama placed very well finishing first overall in the tournament. Alabama also took the top 3 spots in mens, women's and men's A.
Rubgy hosted Western Kentucky this weekend in a windy contest. Alabama held a 5-0 halftime lead before trading tries with WKU in the second half. Alabama held onto a 15-10 lead before Western Kentucky pulled ahead 17-15. WKU held on for the victory.
Rugby will travel to Huntsville, AL on February 28th.
Table Tennis traveled to Mississippi for the Regional Tennis Tournament held every semester. Alabama went 0-5 for the tournament but took many things away from this weekend.
Women's Soccer hosted the Birmingham Soccer Club on Sunday night. Birmingham took an early 1-0 lead before Alabama scored to tie things up. Alabama held on for the 1-1 tie in their first match since Nationals in November.

Cycling traveled to Statesboro, GA this weekend. Tyler Matthews placed 2nd in 2 events and Preston finished 8th and 9th in his events.
Cycling will host a race in Tuscaloosa on February 21st and 22nd.
Hockey ventured to Duluth, GA for the ACHA playoffs. In the first round, Alabama took an early lead against East Carolina, but lost their lead on a few costly slipups. Alabama played well the rest of the game but could not catch ECU. ECU won 8-4.
In Game 2, Alabama took on Christopher Newport in the double elimination playoffs. Alabama ran into another hot goalie and came up short 6-3. Alabama dominated shots taken 45-28, but could not pull out the victory.
Alabama had a great season. They will host the Schools of the Southeastern Conference on February 27, 28th, and March 1st.
Men's Lacrosse traveled to Decatur, GA for a match against GA Southern. Alabama came out a little slow before overpowering GA Southern 18-6.
Alabama will travel to Nashville, TN on February 21st and 22nd.
Rugby traveled to Ole Miss this past weekend. Alabama dropped its first game of the season after an 86th minute score by Ole Miss and the try to seal the win 19-17. Alabama is 4-1 on the year.

Ultimate traveled to Atlanta, GA for a tournament hosted by Emory. Alabama went 2-2 on Saturday with wins over North Greenville and Central Florida B and losses to Finalists Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech. On Sunday, Alabama beat Emory-B 15-12 and advanced to the Quarterfinals to play Emory-A. Alabama lost 15-13.

Crew traveled to Chattanooga this past weekend. Alabama competed in six events and placed in the top 3 in 3 events. JT Toney took 2nd place, Trevvor Clark took 3rd in individual efforts.
Cycling traveled to Gainesville, FL for the SECCC. Cycling made a strong showing once again. Sam Barr finished 2nd and Tyler Meadows finished 3rd in their respective races.
The Holiday Hustle was a success! Sport Clubs helped raise 1200 for the Alabama Epilepsy Foundation. Special thanks to Christina McClellan for all her hard work. Click here for the result.
Men's Lacrosse hosted Ole Miss on Friday night in Tuscaloosa. Alabama and Ole Miss battled back and forth the whole night it seemed. Ole Miss took a late lead and held off Alabama 11-9.
Men's Volleyball traveled to their first tournament this weekend at GA Tech. Alabama went 3-7 for their first weekend, but took home many positive things from their first tournament. "Alabama can't wait for their next tournament," said Christian Rodriguez.
Racquetball held their annual Spring Kick-off this weekend. Alabama had a successful weekend and finished at the top of the leaderboard.
Rugby traveled to Vanderbilt for a game against Vanderbilt. Alabama won 30-7 over Vanderbilt.
Alabama will host Western Kentucky on February 21st at 1 PM in Tuscaloosa.
Ultimate Frisbee traveled to Talladega, Alabama for the Mudbowl Competition. Alabama went 1-5 over the weekend, but beat Section Rival LSU in pool play. Alabama advanced to the pre-quarters against Vanderbilt but fell to Vandy 11-8 after having an 8-3 halftime lead.
Wheelchair Basketball held the Bama Fever Tournament in Tuscaloosa this weekend. The women went 2-0 over the weekend with wins over Missouri and Lakeshore. The men went 2-2 with wins over Missouri and Lakeshore and losses to Arizona and UT Arlington.
Women's Volleyball traveled to Nashville, TN over the weekend for a tournament at Vanderbilt. Alabama finished 2nd in their pool and 3rd overall with wins over Auburn (2), Kentucky (2) and Vandy and Tennessee.

Hockey
Men's Lacrosse traveled a good bit this week as they opened up the season. Alabama scrimmaged Division III Birmingham Southern on Wednesday night but lost 13-1. On Friday, Alabama faced Macon Southern Virginia University and came away a winner 10-2 for their first win of the season. On Saturday, Alabama played close against Palm Beach Atlantic but fell 11-14. Alabama also faced Mercer on Saturday and won 13-3.
Alabama will host Ole Miss on Friday at 5 PM.
Ultimate Frisbee hosted the 5th annual Ttown Throwdown Tournament this weekend. Alabama came out strong for the first tournament of the college season by going 4-0 on Saturday. They beat strong competition from Auburn, Mississippi State, Tulane, and Georgia-D. On Sunday, they advanced to the finals by beating Auburn again, as well as Harding. Alabama faced Tennessee in the finals but fell 13-3.
Ultimate will travel to Talladega, Al for the Mudbowl Tournament on February 6th and 7th.

Disc Golf hosted a Winter Warm Up Series at Bowers Park this weekend. Matt Orum won the Open Division with a -7. Eric Stephens won the Intermediate Division and Alabama's Drew Patton won the Advanced Division.
Alabama will host the Alabama Slammer Competition at Bowers Park on February 21st.
Hockey completed its regular season finale home series against Clemson this past weekend. Coming off a 10-0 home winning streak, Alabama took on Clemson for a double header this weekend. Alabama won Friday 3-2, and Saturday 9-5 to finish a 12-0 undefeated home regular season. Congratulations guys!
Alabama will travel to Atlanta, GA to take on Arkansas on January 30-31st.

Hockey competed in Pelham over the weekend in a round robin tournament with Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State. Alabama blanked Vanderbilt 6-1 on Saturday and Mississippi State 10-0 on Sunday to improve to 10-0 at home this year.
Hockey hosts Clemson Friday and Saturday at 8 PM.
Rugby hosted Marion in their first match of 2009. Alabama Rugby rolled to the victory 71-7 as twelve different players scored tries.

Women's Wheelchair Basketball traveled to Illinois for the Midwest Women's Regional Championship this weekend. Alabama swept the tournament and improved its record to 22-2. Alabama shut down #4 ranked Arizona 65-35 in Game 1. In Game 2, Alabama cruised past Wisconsin-Whitewater 56-12. In Game 3, Alabama beat Pheonix 65-19.
Alabama rolled into the championship game 3-0 for the weekend to set up a date with #1 Illinois. Alabama was looking to avenge last year's one point loss to Illinois in the National Championship Game. Alabama came out tough and used a stingy press to take a 10-0 halftime lead. Alabama then jumped out to a 19 point lead at the beginning of the second half. Illinois fought back but it was not enough as Alabama took home the championship 50-38.
Alabama will host the Bama Fever Classic February 6th and 7th. Tipoff starts at 10 AM.

Hockey looked to avenge last year's losses against Florida State this weekend in Pelham. Alabama nearly missed the playoffs last year with two losses against FSU last year. That was not the case this year. Down 3-0 on Friday, Alabama pulled it together and bounced back to win 6-5. Mark Wysock scored the game winning goal.
On Saturday, Alabama took a big lead early and held off Florida State 10-4. Sam Schirmer had 6 total points, Sam Fullone had 5 points, Adam English had 4 points, Sam Bodner had 3 points, and Mark Wysock had 4 points.
Hockey hosts a round robin tournament on January 16th, 17th, and 18th. Arkansas plays Vanderbilt at 8 PM on the 16th. On Saturday, Vanderbilt plays Mississippi State at 4 PM and Bama plays Arkansas at 8 PM. on Sunday, Bama plays Mississippi State at 12:00 PM.
Men's Wheelchair Basketball competed in the Pioneer Classic in Birmingham. Alabama won their first game 55-43 against Grand Rapids. Arambula scored 16 points and collected 15 rebounds. Douglas added 14 points off the bench.
In Game 2, Alabama stumbled against Arkansas 71-85. Loftin scored 20, Arambula scored 19, and Booth scored 14. Arkansas took a 15-0 run to end the first half.In Game 3, Alabama fell 53-56 to Philadelphia.
Men's WheelChair Basketball will travel to Arizona on January, 23rd.
Women's Wheelchair Basketball competed in the Pioneer Classic in Birmingham. Alabama won every game in its pool and advanced to the finals against Dallas. Alabama took a 29-13 halftime lead before winning the Championship 55-40.
Alabama will travel to Chicago on January 17th.
