Disc Golf- 5th in the nation

Ice Hockey- advanced to the South Regional Playoffs

Men's Soccer- advanced to Nationals

Racquetball- 2nd place overall in the nation

Triathletes- 8th overall in the nation

Tennis- advanced to Nationals

Ultimate Frisbee- advanced to Regionals

Waterski- 6th place in the nation

Women's Soccer- advanced to Nationals

Women's WheelChair Basketball- 2nd in the nation

Ultimate Frisbee traveled to Baton Rouge for South Regionals. Alabama broke seed and finished 10th in the region for the weekend. After dropping their first game to Washington University 15-7, Alabama bounced back with a 16-14 victory over Truman State. Alabama's hope for Nationals were still alive as they faced Missouri. Alabama took a 7-3 lead before Missour battled back to take an 8-7 halftime lead. Missouri held on to win 15-12 killing Alabama's bid to Nationals. Congrats to Matt Bailey and Josh Currey for being named MVT of the tournament.

Disc Golf traveled to Augusta, Georgia for Nationals this past weekend. Alabama placed 5th overall for the tournament. Congratulations on your great finish.

Triathletes hosted the National Collegiate Triathlon Competition at Jack Warner Parkway this past Saturday. With over 1000 people competing and 60+ teams, Alabama finished 8th overall. Congratulations on a great season.

Men's Lacrosse played Auburn this past weekend in Birmingham, Alabama. Alabama kept it close but Auburn pulled away late with five minutes left to go in the game. Auburn won 22-5 in the Tide's last game of the season. Men's Lacrosse finished 1-9 on the season.

Waterski competed in the Atlanta SAC Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. Alabama took 1st overall in the event.

Waterski will travel to Lexington, North Carolina on April 19th-20th for the SAC Championships.

Triathletes traveled to Tallahassee, Florida for the Red Hills Triathlon this past weekend. Alabama competed against Florida and took first in both the men's and women's event. Kendrick Gibson took 1st, Ted Nathanson took 2nd, and J. Bruhn took 3rd in the Men's event. Hannah Gerber took 1st and Elizabeth Broadhead took 3rd in the Women's event.

Triathletes will host Collegiate Nationals on April 19th, 2008 at River Road Park. Runners will take their mark at 7:00 AM.

Ultimate Frisbee hosted the Bama South Sectionals this past weekend. Alabama came out firing against La Tech and Belmont winning 13-5, 13-4 respectively. Alabama then took on Sectional heavyweight LSU in the final round of pool play. Alabama rallied after being down 9-6 to win 13-7. Alabama knocked LSU out of the championship game for the first time in ten years.

Alabama advanced to the Semifinals and took on Tulane. Alabama traded points before a break point gave Tulane a 8-6 halftime lead. Tulane took the next break to take a 9-6 lead. Alabama clamped down on defense and won 15-9. Alabama advanced to Regionals with the victory.

On Sunday, Alabama faced Auburn in the finals. Alabama traded points at the beginning before facing an 8-6 halftime defecit. Auburn took a 4-1 run after halftime. Alabama brought in within two but could not catch Auburn as they won 15-11. Alabama finished 3rd overall after a tough loss to Ole Miss 15-13.

Ultimate will travel to Regionals April 26-27th in Baton Rouge.

Water Ski took on SAC in a home tournament. Alabama placed 1st overall. Water Ski will travel to Atlanta, Georgia to take on Georgia and Georgia Tech on April 12th and 13th.
