Come on out to the Outdoor Pool for a fun afternoon of competition, cornhole, swimming and music!

"We wanted to have something fun at the Outdoor Pool for students to hang out and be social," said Laura Hines, one of the event coordinators.

In addition to the cornhole competing, students can go down the water slide, get on an inner tube and float down the lazy river, or dance to music which will be provided by a DJ or live band.

Registration to compete is open from April 8 to April 15. Teams will be composed of 2 people. Sign up on IMLeagues (see intramural page of our website). Teams will pay a $5 forfeit deposit that they will be refunded for upon sign-in at the tournament. The $5 is due by April $15 at the Aquatic Center.

  • Living the Creed

Posted By: UREC, August 09, 2013
The University of Alabama's Week of Welcome (WOW) is a large series of programs hosted by the university to help first year and transfer students in their transition to academic and student life at the Capstone.

The theme for the 2013 Week of Welcome is “Living the Creed.” To familiarize new students with the University of Alabama’s statement of values, each event will support an aspect of the Capstone Creed:

“As a member of the University of Alabama community, I will pursue knowledge; act with fairness, honesty, and respect; foster individual and civic responsibility; and strive for excellence.”
