GET INVOLVED
Intramural Sports at the University of Alabama offers a large variety of competitive team sports, individual sports, and other special events that cater to the entire population on campus. Click on the IM Sports Calendar link to choose the sports you are most interested in. Registration and selecting league times is a painless online process thanks to imleagues. Payment is the only thing necessary to bring to the Intramural Sports Office before you can pay. The Intramural Sports program is also a large employer on campus offering many officiating positions during the course of each semester. OUR MISSION
The mission of The University of Alabama Intramural Sports Program is to provide students, faculty, and staff with the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive recreational sports in a safe environment; to promote and provide quality service and facilities; to facilitate the wholesome and worthwhile use of social, physical, and mental skills of all participants. The desired outcome is achieved via participation in individual and team activities in a controlled environment, regulated by the policies established in this handbook.
Rain? Call the Rain Hotline for Game Updates
Stormy afternoon? Call the IM Rain Hotline at 205-348-2708 before you head out to the fields to check the status of your game. The Rain Hotline is updated, when necessary, by 3:00 p.m. on game days and throughout the evening when the rain arrives after play has begun. Check in before you get wet with the IM Rain Hotline: 205-348-2708. Persons using the fields when closed are subject to a citation from the UA Police.
